I was at the zoo with my family in Ivory Coast when I saw this painting.
Suddenly there was like a movie playing in my head, a rerun of all the guys I’ve loved and how I had approached them rather than being the lady and waiting for the man to make the move!

My friends used to think I’m weird, and in my turn I used to find them passive for waiting for a guy to talk to them.
Some say they throw a bate and wait for the man to react. What,do you think he’s a fish?
What if he didn’t pick it up?
And if you’re a woman of high standards you wouldn’t want just anyone to date and approach you now would you!?
I mean if you want him tell him, why beat around the bush?

Apparently I’m the descendant of the species where the female takes the initiative to love and be loved.
Those known as alpha females or matriarchal species like bees, elephants, orcas and last but not least lions.
That might just explain it, for my birth sign is Leo.
I am an alpha woman and proud to be!
I choose what I want.
I live the life I want and not the one offered to me, and for a man to get my attention he has to be an alpha male and take the lead in my life for I love nothing more than willingly obeying the one I love.
I choose to be subordinate to a real man, one that knows the value of a strong, independent woman.
A man that empowers me and never tries to steal my shine.

I’m certainly not the descendant of the crocodile line though for I do not believe in polygamy and in fact can not share my partner with anyone nor can I have multiple men invading my heart.
I’m a one man kind of woman, monogamous!
